Ride Around the Ranch: Highland Edition is a relaxed but memorable ranch adventure designed for guests who want to experience Highland cattle in a way most visitors never do — out in the pasture where they actually live.
Your experience begins with a guided ranch ride across the property as we head out to the pasture to see our Highland herd up close. Along the way, guests often see cattle grazing, moving across the land, and interacting naturally as they would during a normal ranch day.
Seeing these animals in their natural environment is completely different from viewing them from a fence line. Out here, guests can appreciate the size, beauty, and calm temperament that make Highland cattle one of the most recognizable breeds in the world.
After the pasture visit, the experience continues back at the barn where the pace slows down and the focus turns to our miniature Highland and Highland-cross cattle.
This is where guests get to truly enjoy the animals — brushing their long coats, taking photos, and spending time with the gentle, fluffy mini cows that have made Chasing Dreams Ranch known for unforgettable ranch visits.
Some guests come for the ranch ride.
Others come for the mini cows.
Most quickly discover the best part is getting both.
The combination of pasture exploration and up-close animal time creates an experience that feels relaxed, authentic, and genuinely special.

This experience takes place entirely outdoors on a working ranch with uneven terrain and live animals. Closed-toe shoes are required. Weather-appropriate clothing is strongly encouraged.
Participants must follow all safety instructions during the ranch ride and while interacting with animals.
Livestock are animals with natural behaviors and can be unpredictable. While every reasonable safety measure is taken, participation in all activities is voluntary and at the guest’s discretion.
Experiences begin promptly at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may result in reduced participation time and do not extend the session.
All guests must complete a liability waiver prior to participation. A photo and media release is included as part of the waiver.
This experience is recreational and educational in nature. Participation does not grant, imply, or substitute for professional training, certification, licensure, or competency in livestock handling, animal care, or ranch activities.
All livestock handling demonstrations, care discussions, and ranch activities at Chasing Dreams Ranch are provided for educational and observational purposes only and reflect how we manage our own animals.
Chasing Dreams Ranch is not a veterinary facility, and we are not licensed veterinarians or veterinary technicians. This experience does not provide veterinary advice, medical instruction, diagnosis, treatment, or professional livestock certification.
Participation does not grant, imply, or substitute for professional training, certification, or competency in animal handling, livestock care, or ranch activities.
